Since its establishment in 1872, China Merchants Group has evolved with Hong Kong. Its headquarters have always been rooted along the coast of Sheung Wan, enduring myriad changes. In 1978, the project site and an existing commercial building was acquired. This site, along with neighbouring parcels, has now been consolidated and transformed to create the new China Merchants Plaza. Rising majestically along Victoria Harbour's coastline, it showcases groundbreaking architecture and marks a new era in the area's evolution.
